Farm Chef

We’re looking for an experienced chef to facilitate the dialogue and collaboration between our farm fields at Farm of Ideas and the kitchens of our restaurants.

A responsible, systematic and structured people’s person need to fill the shoes of what many would consider the most attractive chef-job in the Relæ Community.

Your daily work consists of driving out to the farm, leading a team of cooks to harvest the daily produce, clean and pre-prep hundreds of different types of organic vegetables and sending them back to the city’s restaurants in time for service.

The key to success is to stay in contact with the kitchens and be in constant dialogue with the head chefs for careful menu planning.

Experience level needs to be at sous-chef level or above since a proactive approach to the menu planning is necessary and managing a group of 5-8 people will be a daily challenge.

A passion for bridging agriculture and gastronomy is essential and having worked for the Relæ Community before is a clear advantage. Applicants with already arranged working visa’s will be preferred.

About you:

  • Experience as sous-chef level or above.
  • Proactive approach to menu planning and communicating with head chefs.
  • Personable and capable of engaging a team of cooks.

Chef de cuisine to Manfreds

We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Cuisine for Manfreds to take on the responsibility of defining the next chapter of our product organic restaurant in Nørrebro.

Manfreds is turning 10 in 2020 and we have an open possibility for the right chef to define the next chapter. Manfreds is well-known as a restaurant with a low-key atmosphere serving great organic food and wine.

Your experience level needs to be substantial as the team consists of about 12 kitchen staff members and is open everyday with several different activities. Open a la carte, caterings and takeaway.

We proudly serve delicious organic food and Manfreds is probably the restaurant in the Relæ community with the most direct connection to the fields at our farm, Farm of Ideas.

You will work closely with Christian F. Puglisi in menu preparation and planning; it is important to express personal character and respect the identity of Manfred’s well-defined farm to table cooking.

About you:

  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated culinary leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to be innovative and work with variable menu creation.
  • Personable and capable of engaging a quality team.

Daytime Café Manager for Mirabelle

But not just any café – one of Christian F. Puglisi’s loud and proud organic restaurants. We won’t lie – it is hard work! But it is all worth it: When you feel the rush of happy guests. And when you feel the joy of taking part in something greater – organic food in a world class league! Mirabelle Bakery is a diverse and serious organic café in the heart of Nørrebro. We are looking for a highly motivated manager with skills able to handle the complexity of the establishment.

Relæ Community is not only about delicious sustainable food and wine – it is about getting the guest to acknowledge what they are eating. At Relæ Community we simply do that by getting the produce from the farm to the table as fast as possible.

In the morning, Mirabelle Restaurant and bakery is filled with guests getting off to a great start to the day with our nourishing breakfast. All through the day, people happily line up to buy our freshly baked sourdough bread and pastries. Our lunch menu is a seasonal selection of produce from our own farm, Farm of Ideas.

We need you to have an overview on all the daily routines, to obtain high standards and build relationships with our customers to keep them coming back and enjoying their experience every time.  You look for solutions and you tie loose ends. You will have the most dedicated and smiling team to help you maintain the high quality at Mirabelle.

Experienced Baker for Mirabelle Bakery

We are looking for experienced bakers to join the team at Mirabelle Bakery. Experience in small scale artisanal bakery is necessary.

English is the spoken language in the small baking team that provides sourdough bread for the entire Relæ Community and pastries, focaccia and more delicious baked goods for the local Nørrebro environment. We bake breads entirely on sourdough and use only organic flours and ingredients for everything.
The Bæst charcuterie and cheese program is an active addition to the list of ingredients used.

BÆST Pizza Chef

Want to be a key ingredient in the “3rd best pizza in Europe”? We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated pizza chef to join the team at BÆST.

Alongside making our famous sourdough pizza, you’ll have the opportunity to make hand-stretched mozzarella, burrata and charcuterie – all of which we produce in-house, with ingredients from our own farm.

At BÆST, we do things a little differently. Everyone gets a slice of the action, from waiters topping the pizza to chefs taking the order. Do you have what it takes to become a part of the Relæ Community?

About you

  • English speaking – this is the working language of the Relæ Community
  • Experience in opening pizza and cooking in a wood fired oven is an advantage. qualifications needed –
  • Team-spirit, a can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn is more important.
