General Manager for Bæst and Mirabelle

Structured and dedicated Front of House manager with experience in high level restaurants wanted for a top management position across BÆST and Mirabelle.

BÆST and Mirabelle are a plethora of different outputs. Two restaurants, a bakery and a bar are run by  70-plus staff in a hustling and bustling environment. The two projects were added to the Relæ Community in 2014 and will soon be celebrating 5 years of success, countless pizzas baked and a vast load of happy guest catered to.

Now, the time has come to expand the team with someone that has the management skills and experience to keep things structured, while the visions stay clear to the front of house staff. There is a team of restaurant managers to be overseen and the General Manager will refer directly to the partners, Christian F. Puglisi and Alessandro Perricone.

The environment is English speaking, international, young and lively.

Start date is as soon as possible.

About you

  • You are fluent and eloquent in English.
  • You are a people person with leadership skills.
  • You are ready to take a great step towards a lot of responsibility.
  • You are capable of understanding the dynamics of the economy in a restaurant business and are inspired and motivated by growth and satisfied customers.
  • You have a number of years of experience in managing in the restaurant industry.
  • You see yourself potentially joining us for a minimum of 2-3 years.
  • You have a heart for organic agriculture and gastronomy.

Experienced Baker for Mirabelle Bakery

We are looking for experienced bakers to join the team at Mirabelle Bakery. Experience in small scale artisanal bakery is necessary.

English is the spoken language in the small baking team that provides sourdough bread for the entire Relæ Community and pastries, focaccia and more delicious baked goods for the local Nørrebro environment. We bake breads entirely on sourdough and use only organic flours and ingredients for everything.
The Bæst charcuterie and cheese program is an active addition to the list of ingredients used.

BÆST Pizza Chef

Want to be a key ingredient in the “3rd best pizza in Europe”? We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated pizza chef to join the team at BÆST.

Alongside making our famous sourdough pizza, you’ll have the opportunity to make hand-stretched mozzarella, burrata and charcuterie – all of which we produce in-house, with ingredients from our own farm.

At BÆST, we do things a little differently. Everyone gets a slice of the action, from waiters topping the pizza to chefs taking the order. Do you have what it takes to become a part of the Relæ Community?

The position is full time.

About you

  • English speaking – this is the working language of the Relæ Community
  • Experience in opening pizza and cooking in a wood fired oven is an advantage. qualifications needed –
  • Team-spirit, a can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn is more important.
